Saline acres English Springer Spaniels
Welcome to Saline Acres English Springer Spaniels!
Here at Saline Acres we pride ourselves in two key objectives: 1) To provide the best possible home for our Springer’s, and yours while still here. 2) To provide a quality Springer pup which can be your next Best Buddy, whether in the field, or by the fireplace.
We are also proud of our color traits. Have yet to produce a black/white or liver/white pup. All are at least a tri-color, with most being sable. The majority will also be either ticked, roan, or both.

Future.
We are a hunting home / kennel here at Saline Acres, but have taken a few years hiatus. Made use of the "controlled pheasant hunting” program run by Illinois State Natural Resources. Frequenting both the Carlyle and Horseshoe lake locations in past seasons, we managed to slowly get "Jake" back in the groove. At this time Jake has passed, God rest his soul. We are currently without a hunter. This is soon to be corrected.........
In the past we frequented a hunting preserve known as Smokey Hollow Hunting Preserve. Now closed for some years, it was then a well managed preserve. Run by a Father / Son team with many years experience. I dearly miss their wealth of knowledge, and love for the Springer. Hunting, competing, and learning there was to this day my best years. The quality friendship there was also a great asset to my life.
I've yet to find a replacement for Smokey Hollow, and it is hard to say your going to make a long trip to hunt "wild" when you've not been able to train as one should. We think we have a way to get the ball rolling again, and will keep all up to date as things here change.
